What is the BLC?
The Bicycle Leadership Conference (BLC) is the world’s foremost education and networking event for the bicycle industry. The BLC returns to Dana Point, CA, from March 17–19, 2026, bringing leaders together from across the industry to tackle the most important issues facing bicycling. The conference includes inspiring keynotes, educational sessions, engaging networking opportunities, and time to enjoy the area's spectacular bike rides.
How much is the Bicycle Leadership Conference 2026?
Early bird and standard conference pricing grants access to all the conference sessions, happy hours, bike rides, and meals. It does not grant access to closed door committee sessions.

Hospitality Passes
Available to purchase for spouses or guests of attendees, as well as Dana Point, CA locals who wish to participate in networking events. This pass grants admission into afternoon happy hours, bike rides, and meals. It does not grant access to conference sessions.

Single Day Passes
Available for those with limited availability. This option cannot be combined with other discounts.

I can’t make the BLC anymore — can I get a refund?
PeopleForBikes is happy to offer one-to-one transfers to a colleague or deferred registration to a future PeopleForBikes event at any time prior to the BLC. Please contact mimi@peopleforbikes.org to transfer your registration. 

Refunds on registration are at PeopleForBikes’ discretion.

Where will the 2026 BLC take place?
BLC'26 takes place at the scenic Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa in Dana Point, California. Situated atop oceanfront cliffs and the world-famous Doheny State Beach, BLC'26 will take full advantage of the location and provide attendees with incredible content and local-guided rides and experiences during the three-day event.

Where should I stay? Is there a hotel block?
To easily access everything happening at the 2026 BLC, reserve your room at the conference venue, Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort + Spa. PeopleForBikes secured a discounted room block at the conference hotel for $359 per night. Take advantage of the discounted rate by booking online below or referencing the BLC when you call the hotel.
When should I arrive in Dana Point, CA for the BLC?
Plan to arrive in Dana Point by noon on March 17, 2026, to take advantage of pre-conference bike rides and other activities around town. Plan on staying through Thursday night, March 19, 2026, to attend the PeopleForBikes BLC Night Market and BLC Honors.
What should I pack?
For attire, BLC is California business casual, no formal wear needed. Keep in mind, mornings are typically cool, mid-day is warm and sunny and evenings cool down quickly. Think comfort, style, and layering, and don’t forget your activewear for group rides and outdoor activities.
How do I get there?  
Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa is situated along the coast next to Doheny State Beach. Find additional information below on getting to the hotel.

Long Beach Airport (LGB) – 45 miles
John Wayne Airport (SNA) – 24 miles 
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – 60 miles
San Diego International Airport (SAN) – 60 miles
Ontario International Airport (ONT) – 60 miles 

Arriving by Car:
From the north:

Take the 405 Freeway South, which merges into the 5 South. Traveling past Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano, you will be looking for the Pacific Coast Highway exit. Exit onto the Pacific Coast Highway to the right, heading north. Proceed past two sets of stop lights to Dana Point Harbor Drive and turn left. Proceed a short block to the next stoplight and turn right onto Street of the Park Lantern. Proceed to the top of the hill and enter the resort's property.

From the south:
Take the 5 Freeway North. Shortly after passing the City of San Clemente, exit at Beach Cities, Highway 1, to the left heading north. Proceed past two sets of stop lights to Dana Point Harbor Drive, and turn left. Proceed a short block to the next stoplight and turn right onto Street of the Park Lantern. Proceed to the top of the hill and enter the resort's property.
I’m getting in early/staying late. When should I check out?  
If you plan on arriving early or staying late, we encourage you to take full advantage of the amenities the resort and Dana Point have to offer. Consider checking in on Sunday, March 15 and/or staying through Friday, March 20 to maximize your experience.
I want to ride during the BLC. What are my bike options?
